What constitutes a being?  Whether corporeal or ethereal, what makes a god a god?

Whatever has movement has consciousness.  Various forms of these exist.  The material realm has orbits.  These include atoms, star systems, and galaxies. Each is in scale and has distinct nearly circular orbiting bits and a central core.

There’s also the spiral level of being,  the corporeal.  It constitutes all life-forms in the gene-based world from bacterial, to human, to plants.

There are beings created in the memetic level.  Gods are examples of this level of consciousness.  Gods are a meme complex. Meme complex or memplex is group of supporting memes or beliefs that enable a god to have certain powers.

Monotheistic belief complexes dominate the west, while multitheistic beliefs are prevalent in the east.

When the multigod representation is lost, one side effect is the ability to identify and amplify the traits which may be considered an aspect of the all-encompassing god yet is more distinguishable in the the multitheistic systems.  For instance, in Christianity, forgiveness is the main point when Jesus dies on the cross.  Jesus is the embodiment of forgiveness.  Yet, Jesus is also a representative of wisdom when he predicted the betrayals among his disciples.

In Buddhism and Hinduism, each aspect is represented by a different god, or more often by several gods as each has demonstrated more than one divine trait and represent a personality within the realms of gods.  When one takes on the persona of the individual god, one accesses more than one trait.  Yet the meditation on each strengthens people in the specific traits and therefore receives the attention it deserves so that the progression of consciousness is well rounded in the spiritual traits.

Often Christianity as it’s practiced does not even focus on the practitioners becoming like Jesus.  Instead it’s more like a patriarchal-dominated, fear-based, self-centered system of a twisted need for validation of the existence of their savior.  So they create emotional triggers such as abortion and homosexuality.  At least those are the current ones.  It used to be Witches, Muslims, Communists, and even Socialists. It probably still is especially immigrants, blacks, and the poor in general.  Christianity in America is given over to some beliefs constructed to remove the congregation removed from reality.  Having them doubt science is a very powerful way of securing an opening for some magical beliefs:  imaginary beliefs.

Don’t be the cause of someone else’s pain and suffering.  That’s the point to most of the Ten Commandments.   Let’s remember now that those are the lesser laws.  Because the people were unable to accept the original text, Moses went back up the mountain and returned not with deeper wisdom but with codified rules of behavior.  Apparently this was the only way to restore order.  It was religious purification of what was generally considered proper behavior.  This is the best he thought he could get the masses to accept at the time.
