You can’t lose

In fact you are a success!

Yes, you are a success! You’re living the programs in your unconscious right now! Successfully!

If you want something different than what you’re getting, then let’s change the programs.

You are a success at doing whatever you are doing. You always will be!  So, why does it seem so unsatisfying?

“What’s it going to take to get ahead, at least a little ahead of myself for a change?”

I used to wonder if it was the way I was thinking that might be creating some of the problem.

“Maybe a fresh perspective will help!”

It sounded like my best option. I was wearing myself out with endless undone lists and unfulfilled good ideas. I had lots of disappointments in life. It was just too hard, and I wanted to do the things I loved without having to be told to work at a job I didn’t have direct influence in.

So like a lot of people, I knew a little about religion, a little about metaphysics, and a little about philosophy, yet I knew nothing about how to be satisfied and fulfilled in my life.

It’s amazing now that I think about it. Heck, I’d even been to three teachings with the Dalai Lama, meditated, read the bible, done yoga, and followed the Grateful Dead. I thought I knew something about happiness!

Ha Ha, I was so wrong…

There’s more to life than new ideas. Here’s the thing that happened to me. I met a girl for whom I was not particularly well suited. She didn’t have time for me in her life, and when I’d had enough, I was devastated.   I was a mess just like I had been every time one of those half victim relationships ended.
“Well, no more I vowed!  Never again!”
So I began to study even more.  And I got a program. It was about developing the inner game, I was impressed.

I began to listen to it repeatedly,  I went to seminars and events all over the country and I spent a large amount of money learning everything I could about the mind.

I wish I could tell you all this was instantly incorporated into a change. With me it wasn’t.  I had to keep going.  In fact, that was one of the big lessons I had to learn along the way. Sticking to things makes all the difference.

In modern society, we have a sort of spiritual materialism in a disposable culture. We try to believe as many different things at the same time as we can. We want to believe in Jesus, astrology, and fortune.
